I love both the Insight and See series. This book, Redefined, was excellent. I love how much Charlie and Madison have grown. I think Madison may actually be my favorite character. This book has a lot of romance, which I love, and we get to see a softer side of the characters. I was a bit worried about this book because its counterpart, Enflame, was not on my top 100 list, but this is on my top 10. It is interesting how the author has the ability to tell the same story from different perspectives but the stories are completely different. Redefined does a great job of redefining the See series. The old elements put together with the new elements, brings the See characters to life. I am looking forward to the next book or anything this author puts out.Product details

This book is Enflame told from Charlie's point of view. The insights that Charlie and her friends have change and grow. They are fighting to be together, fighting to save the damned, and trying to find the path they should be on. They have their minds opened to the past, Charlie meets someone from her past, and they go through hell. I cant wait to see what comes next.
Jamie Magee's books are always a breath of fresh air. She creates an amazing world that pulls you right in and leaves you feeling like anything is possible. Her characters are so likeable that when you get to the end, you feel like you are saying goodbye to friends until the next book comes out. In Redefined you meet a new character that is unlike anyone you have ever met. I can't wait to get to know this character in the future books. Jamie's book are so addictive they will consume your thoughts long after you have finished the last page. Redefined is definitely my favorite so far on the See series and I am anxiously waiting to see what is in store for the characters next.
I just don't know how this author comes up with all these twist and turns. This book can be read as a stand alone series but I recommend you to read the Insight series with the See series because the all the characters intertwine with each series. Just when you think you have a character figured out you don't and then we get another twist. Just love how this author keeps me entertained. Can't put down her books when I start them.

If you are looking for a book that ISN'T another vampire book, but still is in the paranormal/scifi genre then I would recommend reading this series/book.
I liked how this book delved further into the relationship between Charlie and Draven and also introduced one of my new favorite characters, Cashton. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the story lines of Magee's series a great deal. What makes me crazy is the editing (or lack thereof). Magee gets caught up with using the same adjectives over and over again. The difference between a good writer and a great writer is always in the use of language. Magee is obviously not an unintelligent person and should do readers the courtesy of writing as cogently as possible. It's a pity grammar is no longer a consideration for today's writers. If my books were hardcover instead of the kindle edition, i would gladly take the time to edit them and return them for her consideration.
There are really not enough word for me to explain how amazing i think that Jamie Magee is. I could write or talk about her and her books all day and never come close enough to telling you how amazing they are. Every time i start one of her books i think that she couldn't possibly top the last one but she does every single time, and still manages to throw about a million surprises at you. All of her books leave you guessing, which is a hard thing to do now when nearly everything seems to follow the same pattern. If asked i couldn't possibly pick a favorite book by Jamie, but Redefined comes very close. I can't wait to see what comes next in these series or the others and would definatly recommend these books to anyone. I truly hope you buy her books and I hope you enjoy them as much as i do.
1st I have to say that the cover of this book is the most beautiful I have ever seen!!!! It really does reflect the adventure of this series. I love, love both of these series, however they are hard to read at times because sometimes it's hard to tell who is speaking. There is a lot of dialogue that goes on for pages, however the action scenes only last a page or so. The dialogue in these books is brilliant but can get boring after a while. I know this review may sound conflicted, and I guess it is. Just read the book and you will see what I mean. It will be worth your time.
